Asus Rog 3 Aeroactive Cooler 3 Review & Test – The Aeroactive cooler is meant to be able to cool your phone down by up to 4 degrees C and help with gaming performance – is that true? Let’s find out if it’s worth your extra money.

So as we can see from these results the Aerocooler 3 does actually do a great job at keeping your phone functioning at it’s maximum performance – even after multiple tests the results are consistent. I’ve put the full resolution images down below if you wish to compare in more detail:

As I’ve said in the video, what I believe is happening is the phone knows the fan is connected. It’s because of this that it’s allowed to maintain a higher CPU performance during the test because it ‘knows’ it has additional help cooling. This isn’t a fact however but I can’t think of any other explanation as the system temperature did go up even with the fan on – but the CPU performance increased.

Overall

So the next question is should you buy an Aeroactive Cooler 3? Well, if you’re going to be playing a lot of games – which let’s face it, is probably why you’re buying the phone in the first place, then yes, it is worth the purchase.

It may cost a fair bit of money but if you want to squeeze every last drop of performance out of your phone then this is the answer.
