Google Play Protect scores poorly in antivirus tests

Google Play Protect is the behind-the-scenes virus scanning product integrated recently into the Google Play Store.

You might expect Google to have the best virus detecting techniques for their own Store but alas they appear not to:

Do you use a dedicated Antivirus product on your phone or do you rely purely on common sense before installing an app? Some phones of course have built-in scanning such as later Galaxy phones from Samsung amongst others.

The best thing, as always is to check reviews and use some common sense before you install anything on your phone.
