Umidigi Power 3 Battery – 6150mAh Drain & Charge Test

Umidigi released the Power 3 at the end of 2019 with the huge 6150mAh Monster Battery! This promises 11 hours of gaming, 29 hours of video playback, 55 hours of voice calls and a standby time of 566 hours. But how well does the Umidigi Power 3 Battery really fare? Let’s find out with a battery test!

The phone costs about ~£125 in the UK and comes with the MediaTek Helio P60 Octa Core CPU running at 2GHz and 4GB RAM. There’s 64GB of storage and a Quad Camera setup featuring a 48MP sensor, macro and wide lenses. Not bad at all considering the price.

So what do you think about this result? I think it’s pretty impressive when you consider the cost of the phone and the fact it can play all the latest games (except for Fortnite). I’d say you’d easily get a day of heavy use out of this phone without having to worry having to charge it back up.

It’s a shame the charge speed is so slow but I’d guess you’d normally be charging it overnight anyway so this probably isn’t too much of a problem. Umidigi do however say it’s a ‘fast charger’ and at 18W it comes in at the lower end of fast chargers, but it still seems to be a bit slow to me. I think maybe even the addition of wireless charging would help here as you could simply pop it on your bedside table when you go to sleep and wake up fully charged and ready to go.
